Beauty is Embarrassing is Amazing

Went to see Beauty is Embarrassing — the documentary about artist Wayne White — a few weeks back now. It’s such as inspiring movie. White is best known for creating and voicing many of the puppets on Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, but after a career in art directing videos and TV shows, he’s found himself an artist again. As soon as I saw it I started planning on making some mini-Marionettes and putting on some puppet shows. Even now, weeks later, my brain has been swimming in a sea of ideas.

At the screening I attended, Wayne White himself was in attendance which made it even more encroyable! Here’s a blurry, horrible photo of White that I took from far away because I was too shy to say hi.
