Barrettes

My quest for a flattering hairstyle is always tempered by the fact that I can’t stand having my hair touching my face. This is why I never jumped on the hipster bangs bandwagon. On the plus side, this cursed affliction has given me an appreciation of hair jewellery. We discussed my adoration of Buch + Deichmann ornaments last week, but I have all kinds of hair holders. Here are two more recent accquistions: A celluloid Crescent and star signed “G. Morand Made in France” and a groovy typographic metal butterfly that spells out the word “Peace.”
