Hot Weather Survival Guide

In what now seems par for the course for Toronto, the weather has jumped from cold, damp and miserable to hot, humid and miserable in the span of a week. Taking a page from the pastry cooks at Sud Forno, Terroni’s newly opened bakery, I have adopted wearing a $2 cotton bandana to keep the sweat from running into my eyes. With my new short hair, the look is a little GoGos-era Belinda Carlisle, so yesterday I paired it with another 1980s fave — a teal mesh pullover. So far, so cool.
