British Invasion

Pictured above is a snapshot I took of a shop window in Teddington, a suburb of London. The laid-back English look has been inspiring my hot Canadian summer style ever since I’ve returned. Here’s some of examples of my newfound, stripey style.

Light blue is my jam now. I’ve even incorporated it into my summer goth styles.

It might not be a full on copy of the English Coastal Grandmother look, but the silhouette is kind of the same. And the orthopedic Mary Janes summon up the spirit of photo number one. Sort of. Kind of.

Which brings my to a theory I have that I could never be a plagiarist because even if I tried to knock something off, I see things through a slightly wonky lens.
