My obsession with time extends beyond just wrist watches—I love clocks too! December was a banner month for finding clocks at the Value Village.
I have long aspired to thrift one of these Dietrich Lubs designs Braun travel alarm clocks. I had even put one on my December instagram wish list. And shortly after I found not one but two. I decided not to be greedy and left one behind.

I wanted to make December a month to complete a bunch of unfinished projects but instead I took on one more with this working Ingraham mid century modern “Daisy” wall clock. At some point in its history someone decided to paint its yellowing plastic white. I’m in the process of gently removing that paint. It’s a delicate process and it’s taking forever. I will keep you posted.

We have a longstanding tradition with our friends Elizabeth and Craig (and their family and friends) to get together and watch Pee Wee’s Christmas. This year was extra special as Craig made a Clocky from Roma Pizza — a Hamilton, Ontario specialty.
