My Summer Vacation: Trailer Times

The second half of summer holidays was to my parent’s trailer outside of Southampton, ON. I went with my sister Bobbi and nieces Madison and Sydney. It was overcast the first day, so we went into town (that’s the Southampton lighthouse pictured above).

We visited the Bruce County Museum. I liked the chairs!

Amongst the permanent collection is an old lighthouse reflector. It reminds me of a gigantic jewel.

They also had a snake and reptile handling exhibition. Here I am modelling my new boa.

The rest of the trip was spent swimming, watching West Side Story and hanging out. We did go into Port Elgin where I bought some sweat pants at the Giant Tiger. When I’m out of the city, something compels me to buy sweats. When I’m in the city, sweats repel me and I end up giving them to my niece. I will spare you photos of my swimming or wearing sweatpants.
