Do Over: Deco Glass Cameo Bracelet
Since I gots no money, I figured I’d better get busy fixing up some jewels. I found this lonely cameo bracelet panel at the St. Lawrence Market. I reckon it’s Victorian or Victorian Revival. And I think it’s supposed to be a portrait of Athena/Minerva. Instead of waiting for the appropriate number of jet black beads to appear in a bag of broken jewellery, I decided to string some pale jade perles on some stretchy cord instead. I wish the beads were a little darker and a little bigger but overall I’m happy to be able to bring this piece back to life.
I like the contrasting colours.
Thanks Cheryl! I was unsure because a cashier atvthe Dollarama asked me the green beads glowed in the dark.
