Ring Week 2013: Amethyst Geode

The weather outside has been so baloney that I’m reluctant to leave the house. As a shut in, I’ve been amusing myself by taking pictures of my various gems in various settings. Inspired by photos of artists such as Georgia O’Keefe and Louise Bourgeois, I though I’d take some snaps of pretty rings contrasted against my roughed up and wizened hands. And then, for some reason, I thought I would share them with y’all.

Above is a newish accquistion: An amethyst geode glued to a costume ring. I will have this stone reset, I swear.
