T-Shirt Week: Funny Shirts

Last week, I did a big wardrobe cull. I took many things that no longer fit me to sell at Mrs. Huizenga’s Vintage Clothing Sale last Friday and Saturday (I had such a good time, by the way). I discovered that I have quite the collection of graphic t-shirts.While I do wear a few, most are kept for purely sentimental reasons. I thought that maybe if I immortalized them here instead of enshrining them in my closet, I could break the emotional bond that keeps me from taking these to the Goodwill.

Today’s tees are souvenirs of my comedic aspirations. The Bad Dog Theatre is an improv comedy organization that I have been involved with on and off for about a decade. Laugh Sabbath in a group of indie comics here in Toronto (though half have recently relocated) that run various nights and a film festival. Mr. Andrew and I are friends with some of the comics and have, on occasion, performed at some of their shows. Mostly, though, we just liked going out and seeing their old Sunday night show at the Rivoli. This shirt is doubly hard to destash because I love the logo.
