Art That I Saw
The last couple of weeks have been crazy with work-related travels. Whenever I get few free hours between obligations I like to get an amble in for exercises and to explore the city I’m in culturally. Last weekend I was in Indianapolis. Here are some of the public artworks that I observed along the way.
I was staying at the Alexander Hotel, which had a lot of commissioned artworks in the lobby and guest floors. My favourite installation was this assemblage made of old vinyl records by Paul Villinski.
The hotel was also physically connected to the less expensive neighbourhood. Was the Indianapolis Museum of contemporary Art. It is not a big place and it was not open during my free times, bit this installation just outside of the entrance. I don’t know who made it. Sorry.
