In the past I have often written about the clogs of my childhood. They are my Proustian madeleines. I am forever buying red shoes in an attempt to replicate this favourite footwear. Like these Moroccan Babouche slippers that I found at the Salvation Army last week.
Earlier this week, we were cleaning out the back room and figured that we probably didn’t things that had been sitting in a box since we moved over a year ago. So I stopped by the Salvation Army on St. Clair to drop off stuff. Whilst there, I discovered a whole wall of New Old Stock Dansko clogs, including this patent red pair — the closest I’ve come to replicating my youth yet!
I was so happy that I bought a pony skin, tiger print pair as well.
