Desk Set Jet Set

Conventions are always a great place to stock up on office supplies. My desk side drawer are filled with things like rulers from the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada’s annual shindig and USB keys from the Interior Design Show,  Here’s some of the swag I brought back from Baselworld.

First of all, I will never need to buy journals, pens or notebooks again.

The coolest new addition to stationery village comes from Hermès: It’s a magnifying glass called “Eye of Cleopatra” that was originally designed by Jean Cocteau in the 1960s or 1970s. It magnifies up to 10 microns, so I can use it to inspect the teeny tiny bits of watches and jewels. I can also wear it as a pendant!
