Fishies

I went to the Ripley’s Aquarium with my sister, my niece, her husband and my grand niece on Monday. I wore the pearl necklace as made last week as well as a vintage Sarah Coventry fish necklace that I got at the Value Village also last week.

Post trip I was even more inspired to pile on the sea-themed jewellery. I made the Mixed metal necklace pictured above out of bits and pieces of broken pieces. The articulated poisson pictured below is another example of mid Century modern Canadian jewelry by a maker named Joël. I love that someone loved it enough to repair it.
