Checks And Stripes

Went to K-W for Mother’s Day this weekend. Stayed at my sister’s. On Saturday we drove around visiting the Mennonite Central Relief thrift stores. One of the shops had some fantastic jewelry pieces (a turquoise Navajo cuff bracelet, a Rafael Alfandry necklace, an Edwardian hinged bangle) but I could not afford them.

Fall/winter clothes were deeply discounted, so I bought a few things for when the weather gets cold again. When I say ”few” I mean two: A striped striped sweater and a pair of Glen check trousers. I also picked up the softest, most supple pair of learher gloves and some grey plastic faux Birkenstocks.

That is all. That is enough.
