Craft Show

On Monday I went with my friend Sonya to take a ceramic decoration workshop at The Gardiner Museum. It was led by artist Sharon Norwood. We learned how to use decals to decorate prefired pieces. I decorated two things, a tile and a vase/cup that had been left behind from another workshop.

I’m still waiting for these objects to be refired but here is a picture of the work in progress. The process is kind of like collage, which I like. I want to go out to collect some other ceramics and hit ’em up with decals. I wonder if some of the pottery studios around here would fire my creations for me.
