Do Over: Copper and Brass Studio Necklace

These Do Overs are not very complicated. That’s the whole idea: it’s easy to take something broken and make it new again. In this case I found a very cool studio choker. It was assembled in five sections, but one section was missing. As these artisanal pieces are usually one-of-a-kind, it was highly unlikely that I would find a matching part. Nor do I have the ability to refabricate the missing section. But I did have a section of coppery chain from a broken thermoset necklace. So I took off the fourth section of the choker, added the chain and voilà — the necklace, she is a wearable once again.
