Midweek Modness: Art Pottery
It was a beautiful weekend for strolling around town. Mr. Andrew and I ambled over to Kensington Market to purchase some fresh produce, but we stopped in a few shops along the way. We popped into Bungalow, where I snapped some photos of their impressive collection of 1970s art pottery.
I’m no expert on ceramics, but I love the rugged textures, earthy colours and freeform shapes of vessels from this era. Scandinavian and Italian pieces from this era are super collectible, but Bungalow has a good selection of attractive and affordable pieces by Canadian potters such as Lotte and Beauce, as well as vases marked Western Germany.
