VW Wolfsburg Watch
This is my Grandfather’s wristwatch. He was a mechanic for Kitchener Transit. Sometimes he would also work on friends and neighbours cars. I believe somebody traded him this watch as payment. Basically, if you owned a Volkswagen and drove it for 100,000 km without incident, Volkswagen would give you a watch. Wolfsburg, you see, is the german city where VW was born. The back is engraved with the VW logo.
This watch is from the 1960s. My grandfather gave it to my dad who gave it to me. I don’t think it’s super valuable or anything, but it’s a nice style and it keeps good time.
