Beauty in the Ruins: Victorian Rolled Gold Earrings

I spent way too much money on these broken Victorian rolled gold earrings. Both have varying degrees of wear, breakage and signs of earlier repairs. But I had to have them because the design is just so beautiful. I really need to learn goldsmithing so that I can fix things and/or replicate them.
