Midweek Modness: Israeli Enamel Brooch
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you like modernist studio jewellery from the 1960s and ’70s, but the prices for Scandinavian, Mexican and Canadian designs are out of your reach, seek out baubles by Israeli artisans — it’s a good way to get the look for less.
I’ve had this brooch for a while, but only recently rediscovered it whilst prepping for last weekend’s Junction Flea. It’s marked on the back, but I don’t read Hebrew. Must catch up on my research.
