Coat of Arms

My biggest thrift shop score of the year (so far). I found this huge medallion for $14.99 at the Salvation Army on the weekend. It has an amazing, engine-turned and hand-engraved coat of arms (of who or what I don’t know. My Google Fu is really failing me this week). The mount is marked GB 750 (maker’s mark and assay for 18k gold) The medallion has serial numbers and other stampings that one usually sees on the insides of pocket watch cases.

Whatever. I’m gonna rock it Bruno Gerussi style.
