Fox in Decay

I have this picture of a taxidermy fox set in a tin, art deco-era frame (no doubt from a five and dime). It is one of the many talismans that surrounds me in my office. It was a digital photo that I printed out on our old, colour laser printer on cheap photo paper. I noticed that the picture is starting to change — the emulsion or ink or whatever is starting to curdle on the surface. This new texture makes it look like a painting — that and the fact that the stuffed fox was kind of old and worn looking when I took the picture (it was in some natural resource interpretation centre I went to with my nieces about five years ago.
