Leaf Earrings

It’s fall. The leaves are turning. It seems appropriate to share these sterling silver earrings. I’ve had them since the spring, but I never posted about them because I don’t know their provenance, they weren’t made by anybody famous (as far as I know) and even though I got them in a bag of broken jewellery (there was once a little dangle on the bottom, but it was missing on one of the earrings) at the value village, they are not vintage.

I just like them (and wear them) a lot. They are very clever, what with the stylized oak leaf cut out of the poplar leaf shape. Plus I prefer hoopy earrings as opposed to post earrings — they are just more comfortable to me.
