All New Review: Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash and Maximum Moisture Cream
It’s minus 20°C today. The air is so cold and dry but it serves as a good reminder that this year I have to take better care of my skin. I recently rediscovered Bliss Lemon & Sage Body Butter, which was my go to moisturizing cream about a decade ago. Love the texture. Love the citrussy-herbaceous scent. I stopped buying it out of sheer laziness — the shop that stocked it was up at Yonge & Eglinton.
Fast forward to the present. When I stayed at the W in Miami, there was a Bliss Spa right in the hotel. So I picked up some sample sizes of the butter as well as the Fabulous Foaming Face Wash. I like it a lot. It has little microdermabrasion beads, but it is not too too rough (I am not a fan of feeling abraded) so my skin doesn’t feel tight or dried out. I’ve also got a whole slew of skin issues going on right now: from zits to dry scaly patches on the same face. I feel like it has helped restore some balance.
I realize that this product isn’t for everybody — especially those that feel they need a deep clean. And the word “Foaming” in the title is a misnomer. But for me the gentle exfoliation is blessing in this wintry weather.
