Over And Over And Over

There are some bits and pieces that I love but never wear because they don’t quite feel right. For example, the large tube pictured above is a ceramic ring by Japneet Kaur of Story Of A Seed that I bought at an art show years and years ago. It is so beautiful and delicate that I could never bring myself to wear it lest I broke it.

I’ve tried pairing it with various chains and cords in attempt to wear it as a pendant but the proportions never quite worked — as a bead it’s just too big.

I got this beaded rope in a box of broken jewelry a few months back. And I rediscovered the ring whilst organizing another cache of treasures. While not one hundred percent perfect, it’s the best pairing I’ve some across yet. Plus I’m going through a bead fascination again, so I’ll keep them together for now.
