A Quick One

Last week was pretty hectic. I had to get two weeks worth of work done before leaving town for Watches & Wonders plus so much travel planning (I will provide a parade of my lewks when I get back) and maintenance (got my hair done and my nails did). I also had to carve out some space for exercise to get in peak physical shape for five days of fair.

And by “exercise” means shopping. I went to Value Village to walk around and avoid outdoor weather unpleasantness (it was grey and rainy all week). It was a super successful safari.

First up I found a vintage Ferrari tote (perfect for hauling stuff around airports). Then I scored a pair of Tod’s platform brogues. They are a little snug in the toe box (if you know what I mean) but I think I can get them stretched. And in non-clothing news, I brought home a big Pyrex mixing bowl.

But that’s not all! Here’s a mid century modern, cast porcelain froggy figurine and a 1980s era Baby Ben windup alarm clock.
