The Return Of Dollarama Versace

Inspired by my linen Ikea tea towel dress, I decided to finish up another, long planned project: turning these cotton pillowcases thar I bought at Dollarama into a tunic tipping. It was a pretty basic design— two rectangles sewn together with drawstrings running along the top to gather the neckline.

It’s not the first garment I’ve made from colourful pillowcases from Dollarama. This leopard print skirt always gets attention when I wear it out. These Memade outfits represent my maximalist side even though their construction is quite minimalist.

To complete the Dollarama runway, I also bought this Anya Hindmarch-inspired purse. I originally saw them around Easter but didn’t buy when I had the chance. This little fella must have escaped being taken off the shelf when the season ended.
