No Business Like Shoe Business

Been in n a shoe tear lately. It started with a search for mesh jelly flat s (which I’d actually been hunting for since last summer met). I wanted red ones but bought these translucent grey ones at Giant Tiger. The, wouldn’t you know, I found a red pair at Walmart one week later.

next up, I picked up a pair of tan Sperry Topsiders at the Value Village. In grade 13, a friend gave me a pair of her deck shoes and I wore them worn out and duct taped together for the next two years I wore them with my verdure green jeans and a lumber Jack shirt. It was my uniform.

Continuing on a nostalgic path, I also ordered a pair of Sperry Mule Duck boots. I have weird ankles so I prefer a mule or clog to avoid shoes rubbing against my heels and giving me blisters. I like the clog life.

And finally, I went to a Sunday morning yard sale and impulse bought these BøC platforms. They feel comfy but I’m afraid that I’ll topple over in them. Maybe I’ll get a Walker to go with them.
