Robbie Burns Day Special
As you may or may not know, I am one quarter Scots. I bring this up only as an excuse to show a picture of some of my Scottish Pebble jewellery. These pieces were made popular in the late 1800s by non other than Queen Victoria herself. It’s called pebble jewellery on account of how the Celtic designs were set with native stones like onyx, agate, carnelian, bloodstone and jasper along with brilliant cut amethyst and cairngorm.
That’s one of the good things about Canada being so Scottish — there’s lots of these souvenir pieces to be found.
