All New Review: Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette

I teased about this eyeshadow palette last spring (I got it at a Clarins press event). And now it’s finally in stores. It’s pricey, yes, but I quite love it. Here’s why:
1. The nice, neutral palette is the perfect colour combo for transitioning from summer to fall.
2. Clarins’ eye shadows are always good in my book because they’re neither too powdery or too flaky.
3. This particular mineral formulation goes on dry for a light, silky finish or you can use it wet for a deeper, more dramatic smokey eye.
4. The color lasts — and I’ve been test driving it on some very humid days indeed.

So again, the only downside is the price, but because it’s so versatile, I rationalize the cost by thinking that it’s more like buying two eyeshadow quartets.
