Lucky Charms: Tusks
A lot of societies believed that amulets carved into the shape of animal teeth, horns, tusks, claws, talons and hooves brought special protection against danger. They believed that these representational objects could channel some of the animal’s strength and power. Unfortunately sometimes they used the actual teeth, horns, tusks, claws, talons and hooves to create these charms. In Europe, the tusk and the horn are still worn to protect against the evil eye.
I’m not sure what these tusk talismans here are made of, but it’s definitely organic, not plastic or stone.
