Sweater Weather

Even though it’s October, it’s still quite warm here in Toronto. Which is good in most regards (more time to hang outside in my new hammock). But I do miss my warm and wooly clothes. So I started unpacking my winter wardrobe on the weekend and made a mini cull (some random old man cardigans, a too pink Aran knit jumper and a too long lopapeysa cardigan I got in Iceland).

Then I went to the Value Village this morning to drop off the old, and somehow came home with an Icelandic pullover and a green Irish sweater. Plus a crocheted skirt and a pair of handknit socks. All handmade. All under $9.

An aside: we went to see Sigur Ròs last night and that may have reignited my love for all things Icelandic.
