June Junction Flea Reprise
Last Sunday’s Junction Flea was super fun. The weather was (finally) beautiful. We got to eat tasty treats from Augies and others. And best of all, Mr. Andrew and I got to socialize with old friends and relatives and our Flea family. There was a beautiful moment when one of the Flea regulars alerted a new table that they zodiac necklace they were selling for $5 was 14K and perhaps they should price it up a bit.
I am learning a lot about the art of display was also excited to bust out my new necklace display (pictured above). I cobbled it together out of a weathered wood pallet-y thing that I found on Lansdowne and a thrifted old tie rack. It got a lot of compliments.
And though we weren’t in buying mode, we did take photos of some amazing finds, including these cool, red Canadian made mid-century chairs, wicker chairs, a needlepoint Coca Cola sign (from Mrs. Huizenga), and this amazing Kobenstyle pitcher that our friend Donna picked up.
And if you missed the Flea this month, you’re in luck: THere’s going to be a special edition Night Flea as part of the Junction Solstice Festival on June 22nd.
