July Junction Flea Reprise
Another Junction Flea has come and gone. It was a good day in that we found happy new homes for many favourites, such as the old school chart of the Periodic Table from 1979 pictured above, and we pined wistfully for things that we did not make enough money to be able to buy (like the Pitseolak Ashoona stone cut shown above).
I also wished I could have purchased these gorgeous Julie Moon ceramic jewellery pieces (which piece, you ask: all of them, of course) from Magic Pony. And I am happy that Micah from the Flea bought my peachy parasol. It looks so great with her grey dress (and lemonade).
It was a super hot summer day, but we were happy to have visits from friends Morgan and Christopher, Sean and a surprise visit from my cousin Tina and her husband Randy. It’s always great to chat with the other vendors too! I’m also thankful for the assistance of my friend Becky, who helped man the booth after Mr. Andrew booked a short film job. And as always, Mr. Justin came up with more great marketing ideas for the table (make as much shade as possible for customers). It is also fitting that Justin, who came up with the idea of the Surprise Jewellery Sac, bought me a suitcase full of mystery art (more on that later).
