Do-Over Week: Victorian Revival Repousse Pendant
One of my big goals for 2014 is to get caught up on my backlog of repair projects, I thought I’d share a few upcycled jewellery pieces I’ve been working on this week. First off is this circa 1930s piece that I got in a bag of broken jewellery. It is a big hollow ware piece. I spent a lot of time on the internet trying to figure out what it looked like originally. Judging by similar pieces, it was probably Czech and would likely have been hanging from a crystal necklace. So I used an old, faceted glass rosary to fashion something new that still paid homage to the past.
