Midweek Modness: City Hall Style

There have been renovations going on at Toronto City Hall for what feels like years. Mr. Andrew, nephew Nicholas and brother-in-law David went for a little walk to check out the space to revisit our old friend, the statue of Winston Churchill in Nathan Phillips Square which has been moved further north of the plaza. We also discovered these awesome benches, which were part architect Viljo Revell‘s 1965 design, but that I don’t recall ever noticing before. Apparently the concrete and wood seating was in rough shape before the revitalization. But they are incredible now!
