Clay and Glass

I am so over this winter. It hasn’t been too cold. Nor have there been that many snowstorms. It’s just been such a grey and lightless winter this year. That’s why so many of my photos suck — if there’s not enough natural light to shoot pictures of my pretties, there’s not enough sun to restore vitamin D or happiness.

So to keep things positive, I’m posting some photos of my favourite clay and glass beads (all thrift shop finds) because they remind me of summer for some reason. Above are some ceramics from Mexico. Below are what I think are African Trade Beads (I’m not enough of an expert to know if they are old or modern).
