I am always on the hunt for Elsa Peretti jewellery. But generally my budget does not allow for her pieces for Tiffany & Co., so I am always scouring the internet for Halston perfume pendants. You see, Peretti also designed the iconic Halston fragrance bottle and back in the 1970s and ’80s, portable perfume was a big thing.
I already have a bean-shaped, solid perfume locket, but last week I won an eBay auction for this silver-plated bottle. It still has the fragrance in it, even. It’s a bit heady for me, so if I want to wear it (which I do), I’ll have to wash out the scent (which I will).
