Out of Town Treasure

I also hit the Value Villages of Kitchener in search of new inventory for the Gracious Good Etsy shop. I was mostly hoping to find watches but instead I tapped into a rich vein of earrings and necklaces.

The biggest score was a pair of MATL-style Mexican silver, amethyst and turquoise statement earrings, but I’m also tempted to keep the turquoise nugget earrings or the hoops.

The bolo ties and ceramic necklace are also pretty hip and happening. The lariats do especially well on Etsy.

One thing I’m holding on to is this little silver heart shaped padlock. It’s got London hallmarks for 1971. I’m wearing it now.

I also got some colourful beaded bracelets from Tanzania and some citrusy bangles from the 1970s.

And finally I did find a watch! A 1991 Blue Flamingo Swatch designed by Beatrice Santicciolli. The strap is not original but it still looks pretty good though.
