Party Dress

I also closed out 2019 with some new old clothes. I bought a white cotton nightie (even in austerity, there are a few items I’ll give myself a pass on and old-timey nightgowns are one of those things).

I also picked up this jersey caftan to wear for New Year’s Eve. Then we ended up staying in. Then I was going to wear it on New Year’s Day but I discovered it had a tear. I repaired it last night and am now looking for any excuse to take it for a spin.

I reckon it’s a day/night kind of gown. Heck, in the summer the night dress will probably get some public airings as well.
