Thrifting Part 2

In lieu of having a vacation, I’ve been trying to visit all the Value Villages in the GTA. On top of the clothes I posted about earlier this week, I did pick up some accessories, including this lucite Lucerne clamper bracelet watch (it’s still ticking) and malachite bangle, which pairs well with….

…. faux malachite Pobeda watch I won on eBay back in March (you’ll notice that I got a meeting expansion bracelet for this timepiece). And the timepiece looks good worn with….

This second hand mesh tie neck Zara top that I also thrifted. I know this is not an accessory but I am rather pleased with it. It is cool in hot weather and is a day-to-night type garment and it will come in handy if I ever travel again. When packing light it’s nice to have double duty clothes.

I also found this Paco Rabanne Pixel pouch. It is technically a Paco Rabanne Parfums gift with purchase but no one needs to see inside. And speaking of not quite an iconic thing…

….I picked up three cheap windups. The pumpkin-coloured watch was not working when I found it and no amount of codging was going to make it work now. The watch with a woman drinking water worked for hours until I got it home and dropped it on the ground. The third watch is still ticking away and I am wondering if I can swap out it’s cheap one jewel movement with the not working one in the pumpkin coloured watch. I like its homage to the Movado Museum styling. I have to call my watchmaker tomorrow anyway. He hates working on cheap watches but maybe he’ll make an exception.
