Breakfast At Tiffany’s
I thought I’d share an unusual jewel this morning. It’s a bracelet that we beauty editors were given when Tiffany launched their perfume Trueste back in 1995.
Trueste the scent is a light fruity floral, with notes of jasmine, plum and rose. It was created by Chanel’s in-house perfumer, Jacques Polge. It was a very ’90s scent, as I recall, and is due for a revival.
Trueste the bracelet is your classic Tiffany-style chain hung with three amethyst orbs. There is also a large disc on the end that is stamped Trueste.
We actually had breakfast at Tiffany’s when they launched the perfume. The ladies in the room were especially giddy when we were presented with our bracelets. I should wear mine more often.
