Do Over: Art Deco Amethyst Glass Pendant
I spotted this Art Deco necklace at the St. Lawrence Antique Market two weekends ago. The amethyst glass drop was in good shape, but the chain was pretty much absent. I have lots of old chains lying around, but none of them felt substantial enough. So I used a 1920s watch chain to give the piece more heft. I also added about two inches of regular links to that because I like a necklace that hangs a little longer and most of these 1930s and ’20s pieces usually measure around 16 to 17 inches.
