Made in Mexico Carved Mayan Warrior Necklace

If you were to check out my boards on Pinterest, I’ve had a hankering for a mid-century Mexican carved stone face pendant for a very, very long time. Unfortunately, the ones I’ve found in stores or on the internet have always exceeded my $36 thrift minimum. But a couple of weeks ago I was lazily searching through Ebay when I came across this beauty for an unbelievable $13 (plus $3 for shipping). And I won it! The face and spacer beads are made from purple dyed agate. The rest is copper. I can’t pin down the exact age — I’ve seen them dated from the 1950s to 1970s. All I know is that I loves it!
