Midweek Modness: Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Kobenstyle Dutch Pot
Here’s another item I’ve had on my grail list for a long time: A an example of Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Kobenstyle enamel cookery. It’s not particularly valuable as Dansk has reissued the series, but I can’t afford the new versions and the vintage examples are harder to find than hen’s teeth. But I was able to pick up this big red beauty at the Salvation Army for just $5!
The Kobenstyle (which translates to Copenhagen style) collection was originally introduced in 1956. The pieces ore made of enamel coated steel. The ingenoius lid doubles as a trivet!
