Catching Up
There were all kinds of events I meant to write about last week but now I don’t think I have the time or gumption to get truly caught up. So I’ll sort them all into one post (this post) and use a lot of pictures to convey some of the cool things that happened, your know, before.
First thing: I finally visited the Weston Flea. They have a small antique row, some second hand booths, a farmer’s market and even a pet shop. Also, a delicious food court. So basically it’s my new favourite place. I got this cool Picasso serigraph there for $10.
I also attended as many Toronto Design Offsite and International Design Show events as I could. Also got to meet and chat with super star designers Tom Dixon and Lee Broom.
I was especially charmed by the Caviar20 booth — they specialize in vintage art and design objects. Like this big foot.
And look! I got a cool Tom Dixon bag to bring all my press materials home in.
