Nooks

One of my summer goals is to read more. Physical books, even (I already spend too much time in front of a screen). Here are some of my favourite spots to curl up with a good book. Pictured above is a space we call the kitty divan. It’s part of an IKEA sectional that we bought for staging purposes. Now it is covered in carpeting from all over the world and surrounded by Inuit prints.

Admittedly we don’t use our outdoor space very much. But when I do, this old wicker chair is a comfy throne for book times.

Reading in bed is the best, though. The trick is to not fall asleep.
