Best Beauties

In case you were wondering, these are my number one most favourite skincare products. I’m too lazy to put on makeup every morning so I tend to pick products that double up as skin care and c0smetics, like the tinted Burt’s Bees Lip Balm (in the very flattering shade of pink blossom) and the Dermalogica Correcting Spot Treatment. In 2016, I also learned that it is better to invest in somewhat expensive creams than to buy a million treatments that don’t work. I have no regrets about the price of this Fresh Lotus Eye Gel — it feels amazing going on, has helped reduce  (though not eliminate) my puffy under eyes. It has also lasted for a year. And of course the cost of Creme de la Mer is legendary. I got a free sample a long, long time ago and it worked a charm then. So when I got my Harry Potter mark in Iceland, I figured that even though one pot cost hundreds of dollars, it was still cheaper than plastic surgery. There will always be a scar, but most folks say it’s only noticeable when I point it out.
