Vanity and Van City
Recap: I neglected to pack tops for my trip to Vancouver. I got a vintage Iron Maiden tshirt from the Wild Life thrift shop on Granville, but I still needed one more to wear home in the bus.
My first stop was Old Navy. I didn’t fancy any shirts, but I did stop to admire some coats.
Next, I stopped by Zara (wher I found the ruffly-sleeved pullover pictured above) and West Coasr chain 8th & Main. It’s a neat store with an affordable, well edited collection. I bought a gauzy button up and the softest ever sleeveless tee to wear under it.
Vancouver was in the throes of a snowstorm whilst I was there. In another early morning packing mishap, I grabbed my brown shearling as my travel coat. It is lovely and kept me warm, but at really should have brought my down-filled, packable coat from the Bay. Because the shearling was quite damp, I went back to Old Navy to pick up the parka I had seen earlier in the day.
And I got another coat….
