Pen Day

I’m getting knee surgery done next week, so I’ve been busy organizing the house so it will be easier to hobble around without bumping into things. As a result, I’ve been going through my pens which were scattered around in every room.

Once I got them corralled, I checked them all to make sure they were all cleaned up and running. Here is what I realized:
1. My Kaweco’s are my favourites.

2. I didn’t realize that I had so many Kawecos (four). Many are gifts from NOMOS Glashütte, the Kaweco of watchmakers!

3. I waited forever for a Lamy, and now that I have one I am slightly disappointed. But only slightly because I am delighted by all pens, even the blobby, scratchy and spidery ones.
